The City of Davenport furnishes water and sewer service in the City of Davenport and is contracted with Sunshine Disposal for garbage services.

The Deputy Clerk/Treasurer is responsible for the billing of water, sewer, and garbage charges.  Bills are created on the 25th of each month and are due on the 24th of the following month.  Please see the example time line below.

January 25      Bills are created for January services.
February 1      Bills arrive on or around the first of the month.
February 24    Utility bills are due
February 25    Any unpaid utility bills are assessed a $10.00 late fee

For your convenience there is a drop box located at City Hall for after hour payments. If the 25th falls on a week-end or holiday you have until 8:00 a.m. the next business day.  At this time the City only accepts cash and checks for payments.
